"This is a prototypical mountain lodge in a glorious setting. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the beds are very comfortable. Views are terrific. A shopping area nearby offers a variety of food, snacks, and gifts. It is an easy walk to town. The Sun Valley Inn is on the same property as the Sun Valley Lodge; they are run separately but it's hard to figure out why. Two shortcomings: the televisions are not HD and the sitting chair is less than comfortable." great reviews - map

"When one of your favorite places to visit is remodeled you can't help but be a little concerned, especially a place as iconic as the Sun Valley Lodge. But, when I arrived I was greeted by the same friendly staff, the look and the feel of the lobby maintained the comfortable and tasteful look of the original lodge, (including the photo gallery), but it was more open and spacious. I arrived early, 12 noon, check in time is 4pm, but the Front Desk staff cheerfully accommodated my early arrival, allowed me to move in to my room and I was off to the Golf Club for lunch. "The Knob Hill Inn offers a perfect retreat located on the north side of Ketchum. Our suite included a fireplace in the sitting room, terrace, and a five-fixture bath. Both the bedroom and sitting room have flat screen TVs. Breakfast is included.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Ketchum Grill and were seated on the terrace which is covered and has heat lamps for chilly evenings" really great reviews - map
